Junior High and High School Volleyball Rosters
The 2008 Faith Academy junior high and high school rosters have been set.

Volleyball Season is Here!!!
The high school squads have been set and will begin play on Tuesday, August 12th at Bloomington HS. Their first home match will be Friday, August 15th against Austin's San Juan Diego HS. JV will play at 5:30 pm with Varsity to follow at 6:30 pm.
Ford, Smith Sign National Letters of Intent
2008 Faith Academy graduates James Ford (basketball) and Kody Smith (baseball) have both signed National Letters of Intent to continue their playing career. Ford will suit up next season at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas; while Smith will take the field at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.
Ford to Participate in All-Star Game
Faith Academy senior James Ford has been selected to play in the 2008 TAPPS All-Star game, the organization has announced. The All-Star game is comprised of 33 players from all TAPPS classifications, 1A-6A. This is the second straight season he has been chosen to play in the event. FA Head Coach Matt McLeod has also been selected to serve as one of four head coaches for the event.
Firova Named Honorable Mention All-State
Freshman Kayla Firova has been named to the TAPPS 1A/2A Honorable Mention All-State Team. Firova led the Lady Cougars at both the plate and on the mound this season, recording a team-best seven wins
while also throwing the first no-hitter in school history. Way to go, Kayla!
Texas Basketball Coach of the Year
The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches has named Faith Academy Athletic Director Matt McLeod the Outstanding Coach of the Year (Small Private School Division). This includes all schools in TAPPS 1A-3A, TCAF and TCAL organizations. This season Coach McLeod led the Cougars to 25 wins, a distirct title, and regional finals appearance.

Many circumstances arise in preparation for and during athletic competition that offers opportunities for God's principles to be applied and it is our goal to see students exemplify Christ-likeness in everything they do. Our dedicated coaches help young people relate victories and defeats, as well as the principles of hard work and teamwork to their daily walk with the Lord.
Our high school athletes compete in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) 2A level of competition. TAPPS is a statewide program that is governed by a Board of Directors, and they form the rules, regulations, districts, and levels of competition that we adhere to.
We offer 12 different sports for student-athletes in grades 6-12, including the following:
