Atheltics
History
The last four years have opened the doors to unprecedented success in the Faith Academy Athletic Department. Since the beginning of the 2003-04 school year, the Cougars and Lady Cougars have recorded 10 district championships, three Final Four appearances, and the first two State Championships in school history. FA athletes have also enjoyed recent individual success, combining for nine First Team All-State selections, 11 Second Team All-State selections, and 12 Honorable Mention All-State selections during that same period.

Varsity Volleyball
The Lady Cougars had a very young team during the 2007 campaign, as seven freshman and sophomores saw a significant amount of action on the court. They finished the season in 4th place in the district standings, just missing out on the state playoffs. The team had two first team all-district selections, two second team picks, and a pair of honorable mention all-district players.
Varsity Girls Basketball
The 2007-08 squad continued to build upon last year's success, claiming its second straight district championship and advancing to the Area Playoffs. The Lady Cougars also won 20+ games for the first time in school history and moved their two-year district mark to 17-1. In addtion to numerous all-district honors, the team placed one player on the All-State Second Team, another on the Honorable Mention All-State Team, and also had one player earn Academic All-State honors.
Varsity Boys Basketball
The Cougar basketball team finished last season with 24 wins, a district title, and just the second appearance at the Regional Finals in program history. The team with a 12-1 home record and earned a pair of victories of Final Four partiipant Tomball Rosehill. The Cougars saw their own Final Four hopes dashed by a last second three-pointer in the Regional Final. Seven players earned all-district honors, while one Cougar was named First Team All-State and two more were selected to the Honorable Mention All-State team.
Varsity Softball
Despite having just one senior on the team, the varsity softball squad finished 2008 with the most successful season in school history, complete with an appearance in the state playoffs and the program's first no-hitter. The Lady Cougars finished third in the district standings and had three first team all-district selections, two second team all-district picks, and an honorable mention all-district selection. The team also placed one player on the Honorable Mention All-State squad.
Varsity Baseball
The Faith Academy baseball team was young and inexpierenced in 2008, having a roster that included just one senior. In spite of its youth, the team had five players selected for the all-district teams, and one Cougar earned Academic All-State honors.
Varsity Track and Field The Faith Academy Track and Field program completed just its second year of competition in 2008, yet the team still sent six athletes to the State Track Meet to compete in six different events. As a team, the girl's squad recorded a second-place finish at the district meet and then followed it up with a third place showing at Regionals. The girl's team also brought back a pair of second place finishes (Shot Put, Discus) at the State Track Meet in Waco.
