Faith Academy does two main fundraisers every year: the Spring Giveway and the Spring Extravaganza. The Spring GIveaway is our school raffle that starts in December and rund through the end of March. The Spring Extravaganza is our annual BBQ Dinner and live/silent auction that will be held on April 5, 2009. The money raised enables us to continue to expand our academic and extra-curricular programs, purchase new equipment, and recruit and retain exceptional teachers.
Iaddition to the two main fundraisers we do each year, there are several, practical ways that you can support Faith Academy as you go about your normal routine. Many of the opportunities below are products you already use. We appreciate your help as we all do our part to make Faith Academy a great school for our children and community.
QUIZNOS “COUGAR CASH”
Buy any sub at regular price and Quiznos (5210 Navarro, next to Hastings) will donate to Faith Academy the following: $1 w/purchase of any small sub; $2 w/purchase of any regular or large sub. Don’t forget to mention Faith Academy when you pay. Other coupons or discounts will not be accepted with this program.
TEXAS ROADHOUSE
The second Tuesday of each month is Faith Academy Kid’s Night at the Texas Roadhouse. There will be games, face painting, Ziggy the Clown, and best of all, KIDS EAT FREE. They will donate 10% of all sales from faculty, parents and family members. Please tell the server to designate your ticket to Faith Academy School and mark these dates on your calendar (September 11, October 9, November 13, December 11, January 8, February 12, March 11, April 8, May 13, and June 10).
BOX TOPS 4 EDUCATION
Box Tops 4 Education is a program sponsored by General Mills that allows Faith Academy to earn 10 cents for each Box Top we send in. Box Tops are available on many products and the list is always expanding to add new products. Please clip the Box Tops and turn into the school office.
You may also earn money for the school through Box Tops for Education Program by making purchases online through www.boxtops4education.com. Or you can apply for a Box Tops 4 Education Visa Card where 1% of your purchases are designated for our school. Visit the website above for more information.
TYSON PROJECT A+
Please clip the A+ coupons that can be found on most Tyson Products and turn them into the school office. We receive 24 cents for each coupon submitted. For more information, please visit: www.tyson.com/projectaplus.
OFFICE DEPOT
Every time parents, students, and school supporters shop at Office Depot, you can give them Faith Academy’s name or ID number 70101807 as you ring up your purchase. We will then earn 5% credit to use in the store for needed school or office supplies.
TARGET TAKE CHARGE OF EDUCATION
Each time you shop with your Target Guest Card or Target Visa, Target will donate a percentage of your purchase to the school of your choice. Donations total 1% of your purchases at Target and Target.com and 1/2% of Target Visa Credit Card purchases made everywhere Visa credit cards are accepted. To enroll in the program, apply for a Guest or Visa card and designate Faith Academy as the school of your choice. For more information, go to www.target.com.
